I have an SSIS package connecting to a DEV server and it contains two sets of control flow tasks running in parallel. I updated an existing record through a web application (as my source DB) and then ran through these two sets of tasks in order to update that record in my destination database but it has failed with the above error message. There was only 1 record to be updated and how on earth that the connection was busy and there was no table locking in the destination database. Google returned a resolution to this issue, which is to set the RetainSameConnection property of the OLEDB connection manager to false.
